Enterprise Packing Co. Cannery - Then

The canning facility of the Enterprise Cannery has been replaced by the fashionable Monterey Bay Inn. Located within the southermost boundary of the Tevis- Murray estate, the cannery was one of the World War II ventures resulting from the sale and partitioning of the Casa de las Olas -- the 'House of Waves,' as the Tevis-Murray estate was named -- which was built in 1902 to reflect the elegance of the Hotel Del Monte.
